Introducing my new guest blogger Joseph Worrall I'm sure you'll all love him!

Coves – Cast A Shadow EP
Firstly, in the interests of full-disclosure, yes, I’m from Leamington Spa and yes, I know both members of Coves (John Ridgard and Beck Wood). Secondly, no, this hasn’t coloured my opinion of them in any way, shape or form...honestly...seriously!
Right, my vested interest fully on show, I can now get on with reviewing one of the freshest, moodiest and interesting EPs I’ve heard in the last year. And it has been nearly a year since Coves first deigned to grace our lugholes with the first release of their punchy, yet psychedelic offerings. However, it’s only recently - with the endorsement of several high-profile radio DJs  and remixes from celebrity friends - that the duo have begun to get the recognition they rightly deserve.
From the outset the Cast A Shadow EP is defined by the driving grooves and sultry vocals that Coves are famous for, making No Ladder a joyous, twinkly, throbbing sex-act of an opening track.
Then the title track goes and ups ‘it’ a notch. Cast A Shadow starts opens with an uplifting, backwards “waaaaaaaaaaa” that sucks you in to the first bar and when the beat drops it slaps your face affectionately (but firmly) and leaves you rightly reeling at the moment the vocals drift in to soothe your stinging cheek. From then on it’s hard to get over the guilt at the sexiness you shouldn’t be feeling from the aggressive confrontation and the feminine succour presented by Beck Wood’s smoky vocals. Awesome!
Fall Out Of Love is a bassy, bold and poetic number, all violins and snazzy drums, with Miss Wood’s dreamy vocals ever present guiding you through a moody epic about the fragility of romantic feeling.
With further musical missives in the offing for next year and DJs Lauren Laverne and Huw Stevens championing them, I expect you all to be hearing a lot more from this dynamic duo. Check out their soundcloud, ya’ll...

Oh Dear it's been too long! Sorry!!

My next entry is going to be about a couple of awesome bands...

SupaFrezko

So I'm flicking around bands on Facebook and I see this one and thought 'Okay lets give them a try' well I am impressed!
They are a 5 piece band from Basildon Essex and are doing a few gigs around the area. I really like their music. It reminds me of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foster the People mixed with some old school Guns N' Roses. The mixture is pretty amazing and the way the band act together on stage looks like they are having fun which makes the audience have fun too.

All of their songs incorporate old music twisted with a modern style. I think it really works. Check their songs out on YouTube, Soundcloud and Facebook.

http://www.youtube.com/user/Ellewoman?feature=watch

Comment below what you think of their songs!

The Cornerstones

Next up are an unsigned band, they have recently released a song called Smack Me In The Face they are The Cornerstones.
Their sound is soft and husky, they have a similar sound to Miles Kane, The Who, The Beatles, The Kinks, Oasis and The Stone Roses, their influences are from similar bands to whom they sound like. They are a four piece band, Richard Ruth, Dan Bennion, Kyle Radbone and Ryan Pincott. Their sound is older, sort of rock/ bluesy. I love it, it's right up my street!

Find them and their awesome new single Smack Me In The Face on Facebook, YouTube and ReverbNation.

Write a comment and tell me what you think!

Readers, I'm sorry it's been so long! I'm getting back into doing it every week I promise!
This week I'm going to talk about one of my favourite female singers, her name is Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift

So she's been out for four awesome years; had three amazing albums and is just getting better. After years of fame, she's still going from strength to strength. Her latest single is called 'We Are Never Getting Back Together' the song is catchy and is exactly what you want to say to an ex that just wont understand.

I particularly like the part where the music goes to the background and Taylor is on the phone and says "Argghh, so he calls me up and he's like, 'I still love you' and I'm like, I just, I mean this is exhausting, you know, like, we are never getting back together. Like, ever". It just puts a smile on your face and makes you want to sing (yes sing) to your ex.

The thing I like most about Miss Swifts songs are the bits about two thirds of the way through, where she turns the lyrics so the other person would be singing them. I heard it first in the song "Love Story" where she's singing how she's Juliet and he's her Romeo then he gets to the lyrics ... "Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone. I love you, and that's all I really know. I talked to your dad ‒ go pick out a white dress. It's a love story, baby, just say, "Yes"." When this happens it's the classic Goosebumps on the arms and the hair standing up on the back of your neck, it's just amazing.

She does it again in the song "Speak Now" Swift starts with the story saying how she's "Been uninvited by your 'lovely' bride-to-be" and that she's building up to the time where you speak if you want to stop the wedding. "I hear the preacher say, "Speak now or forever hold your peace"
"There’s the silence, there’s my last chance. I stand up with shaky hands, all eyes on me. Horrified looks from everyone in the room. But I’m only looking at you." She then says her offer and he then speaks... "Let’s run away now, I’ll meet you when I’m out of my tux at the back door. Baby, I didn’t say my vows, so glad you were around when they said, "Speak now"."

I can't help but love her voice, some hate it, some don't mind it, but I love it!
You all should go and listen to Taylor Swift's new song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" !!!

If you have ANY suggestions comment below or  tweet me at @LHutchon :) I'd love to hear from you :D

Matchbox Twenty

So there's this band, called Matchbox Twenty they're so cool.
When I first heard them I was so happy, it's just my sort of music, I've been following them for years but since 2007 they had nothing new out, so I originally thought they'd broken up, but then I got this update on twitter saying I have a new follower, and it was Matchbox Twenty. I was so happy that I wanted to listen to them so I went to YouTube and a song that I hadn't heard came up, 'She's So Mean' I did this search on Monday, and since then I've hadit on nearly non-stop. It's so catchy!

Matchbox Twenty are an American Rock band that consists of, Unbelievably
talented members, Rob Thomas has picked his band well!!

Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Brian Yale and Kyle Cook. The band are so talented and have had 16 years of success, they've taken their time with the upcoming album, Thomas gave this reason why...

"Rather than me just writing a bunch of songs, bringing them to the band and then us arranging them together, this was a lot of collaboration. A lot of the songs we wrote together, especially me and Doucette and Cook. We needed a little time to figure out how that works, how that dynamic works with three people who are used to writing alone. How do we get in a room and not kill each other?"

NORTH shows Matchbox Twenty~-Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Kyle Cool and Brian Yale - fine-tuned, from the roof-raising arena-sized anthem "Put Your Hands Up" to the electric beats of "Our Song" to the rich sound of "Overjoyed" and "Parade." "English Town". And then there's "She's So Mean", NORTH's high-energy, harmonized, eccentric first single which is already topping the charts.

You should check out the new single and the new album, it's going to be awesome!!

If you have any suggestions for my next blog comment or tweet me :) @LHutchon

The best unsigned band of 2012... So far...

So I've been bored of listening to the new music of 2012, all of the R&B out there makes me feel dizzy when I listen to it, so I went on a mission to find someone different that I liked.

So I went to google and typed in 'Unsigned Bands of 2012' and found a website with a list of a lot of unsigned bands, I also went to YouTube to see if I could find any good ones, and this is the best band that I found.

Take The Day...

Take The Day are an unsigned band that are battling in Battle of the Bands
Take The Day are a Pop band from Milwaukee Wisconsin
The band members are...

Adam Devlin, Vocals
Timothy Wolf, Guitar/Vocals
Clint Hancock, Guitar
Rob Carey, Bass
Jon Sodemann, Drums

A five-piece unit founded around the idea that music should be a means to spread positivity, passion and love, Take The Day came together in 2010 to create a sound that represents youthfulness and growing up.

They are very top 40, but in a good way, yes they are a very pop/club rock-y but they are really good, I would aliken them to 30H!3, especially their song 'Freaks' and 'Look Who's Laughing Now' I'd also say they sound like All Time Low, Devlin's vocals are unique yet sound familiar. They're influenced by Ke$ha and Katy Perry and Blink-182.

'Take The Day say that they work hard to write the catchiest songs that they can', because lets face it, if they're catchy people will listen to the more, they also like to stay well connected to their fan base.

I suggest you go and check them out because their music is just what you need, if you're down then they'll cheer you up, and it's perfect for summer parties (to be honest they're perfect for all seasons).

There were lots of other unsigned bands that people predict will do good, but I honestly think Take The Day will do really well this year, they're going on tour this summer to get their sound out and heard by lots more people!

Good luck Take The Day!

If you have any suggestions on what my next blog should be on, comment below or tweet me @LHutchon :)

Biggest Guilty Pleasures...

Top 5...

I have an iPod and a MP3 player, they both are full of songs, I lead people to believe that they are all good and nothing weird on there, well lets have a look at what guilty pleasures I really have....

At number 5... this is guilty pleasure is one that would make you either turn your music right down so only you could hear it or turn it right up so everyone could hear it with you, is....
Justin Bieber, Boyfriend- Definitely one to be turn right down so I can only hear it, I just find it really catchy and it makes me go all giggly, it's weird I know I shouldn't like it but I just have to listen to it...

At 4... I'm going to share with you is something I think is actually really cool, it's by Guns N' Roses, it isn't a serious song, it's just something that you can get your own back to someone, it's the awesome song... 'I used to love her'. For those in the know, you'll know that it is a good song and that it is funny, the fact that they 'used to love her, but i had to kill her,' because she was annoying them, I would definitely turn this one up for the world to hear.

At 3... This one is more embarrassing than the Bieber, its Natasha Bedingfield, 'These words are my own' it's catchy and well it's one that makes you just want to jump up and sing along, it's so old yet always makes you have a good time, teehee. This one makes me turn it right up!

At number 2 I asked my friend what her biggest guilty pleasure was, she started by saying Rihanna, because she doesn't really like her, but I wanted something better and something that would make someone think, 'really?!' So I asked her for her real guilty pleasure and she said someone that I needed to check out... Her biggest Guilty Pleasure is Mr David Lee Roths, 'Yankee Rose', I listened to it and it's really cheesy, yet oddly good, so for Jenny I'd definitely turn this one up!
hellosirpleasedtomeetyou.tumblr.com < check out here tumblr...

And finally number 1, the most embarrassing piece of music that I listen to is...
Whitney Houston 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody', I can't help it especially when it does the 'I wanna fell the Heat with somebody' You just need to sing along really badly and kick out the dad dancing moves, it's a classic, and it is 100% one that I will always turn right up!!

Russell Michael. That is all.

I got this twitter update saying that I had more followers, so I went on to see who are they are and to follow them back, and I had random ones from people who like what I tweet, but I had this one from someone called Russell Michael, I'd heard of him and I wanted to know where from, so I went to Google and found him.

Russell Michael, is so incredibly talented. Not only does he write and sing all of his songs, he also does the whole producing-engineering-recording, I think this is because he wants to feel connected with the whole song, not letting any one else do it for him. He also likes to do it because he likes to think of himself as a 'a painter with sound', I too think he is the sound painter.

I found some background information about him, it's rather interesting.
He grew up in South Africa, but he moved to London in 2008 to follow finally his dreams, I can only hope he has found what he wanted, I can say that his fans are so glad he decided to do so ;).

He was in rock band before, but that was short lived, it slowly deteriorated, but I'd say their loss our gain.

He used to play the violin, and the piano after studying them in high school, after that he thought he'd have a crack at the drums, so he got a drum machine, which he got in the best, most rock and roll way, he busked and raised the money! I for one find that truly inspiring, if you want something so bad you have to go and get it, no matter what. He used to bush at Johannesburg International Airport with his Violin.

Russell has plenty of music out there, and he gives it away for free, so get to his website, and get to loving him, because he really deserves it, his music is inspirational.

http://russellmichael.com/blog/

Some of his songs include...

We Got Something
All I Want
One Step Closer
Remember
Who You Are
Days Just Slip Away
Pride
The Next Line
And there are many more!

Aladdinsane!

David Bowie Tribute...

So I went to a David Bowie Tribute on Saturday, it was amazing!

When my friend asked if I wanted to go, I didn't even have to hesitate, I was on that!

So I went round her house before hand and we got ready, including the DB Bolt on our faces. When we got there the people inside the venue and outside the venue were looking at us. When we got to the door we got told '10 outta 10 for effort girls!' This just got us more excited, so we go into the venue, The Square in Harlow, and we get our drink and have a little dance to the pre-gig music that was on the screens.

The the band comes on, all in delightfully sparkly tops and David Bowie-esk trousers on, then the lights go down and on comes David Bowie, (the tribute). He was wearing a tight, white suit, including the classic white boots Bowie would wear.

They started with 'Five Years' just like Bowie did on the tributed album 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars'.

The Set-list was...
Five Years
The Man Who Sold The World
Oh You Pretty Things
Moonage Daydream
Starman
John I'm Only Dancing
Acoutisc Track
Supermen
Life On Mars
Star
Drive in Saturday
All The Young Dudes

Then they had an interval to refresh and change costumes...
Then carried on with...

Hang onto Yourself
Ziggy Stardust
Changes
Space Oddity
My Death
Queen Bitch
Lets Spend The Night Together
Suffragette City
Rock 'n' Roll Suicide
Jean Genie
White Light White Heat

Heroes
Sorrow
Rebel Rebel
Diamond Dogs

It was a packed night!
After they played 'Suffragette City' the had a little break to say thank you to everyone, now Suffragette City is my favourite David Bowie song, so just the fact that they sang that made my night just that much better! But then it got even better than I could imagine...

During their thanks they had these prizes to give away, this man who'd been to a David Bowie gig in 1972 got a CD signed by Woody Woodmansey, he was speechless, as would I be, but then they said that they had one more prize.
It was a signed book from none other than Angela Bowie (David ex-wife), this prize was for the best dressed, my friends and I got this prize, we were so excited! It made the gig so much more personal, not only did we see a David Bowie tribute, we got an amazing gift from it too!

This is me and my friends all made up, and ready to go.

At the end of the awesome gig, I wanted to have a picture with the man who'd made our night....

Me and Bowie ;)

So all in all it was an awesome night! If 'Aladdinsane' are playing anywhere near you you should go an see them!!

If you have any suggestions for music I shoudl listen to comment below or tweet me :) @LHutchon

The best support act...

So I have been to see only 4 gigs,
Friendly Fires,
White Lies,
Olly Murs ,
and,
Foster The People

And they all had their own support acts (obviously) and well in this blog I had a suggestion from someone that I should choose the best support act from the gigs I've been to...

So Friendly Fires...
SBTRKT
and
Chad Valley
Now neither of these musicians are really my thing, but as they were at my first gig, then I have a little connection with their music :)

SBTRKT, well I love their masks, and their stage-presence was really good, they knew how to own the stage and they really seemed to enjoy themselves, bouncing around to the beats they were creating. I enjoyed it very much, especially being right at the front.

Chad Valley, he was really good, more dub-step'y than I'd of liked, although he really doesn't stereotypically look like he would have his sort of tunes. When I saw him come on stage I thought, 'oh he looks like my sort of music man' well I was surprised, he's actually quite good, and incredibly skilled with his two mics.

Next, White Lies...
The Chevin
and
The Duke Spirit
I really liked these to musicians, they are really talented and have really good music.

The Chevin, their epic sounds made me want to hear more, so after I'd seen them I liked them on facebook, followed them on twitter and had got one of their songs off of youtube, it was all very easy. I like their music, it was seriously good live!

Duke Spirit, I liked them, it was nice to have a woman's voice being the support act, if I could hear it over the men behind me shouting 'You're fit'. But I liked her music very much so. She seemed to have fun up on the stage with her band and she really owned the stage.

Olly Murs...
Lilygreen and Maguire
and
Lonsdale Boys Club
These two acts are just brilliant!

Lilygreen and Maguire did really good songs, my favourite was the massive collaboration of all sorts of songs, they were really nice down to earth people, 2 guys with their guitars.

Lonsdale Boys Club, I knew about them before I went to the gig, I knew pretty much all of their songs, so turning up to the gig and finding out they were there was just an amazing feeling, they are good looking chaps, and great musicians!

Now finally
Foster The People...
Mini Mansions
and
We Barbarians
I like one more than the other...

Mini Mansions are well not really my thing at all, but my favourite one was their cover of Blondie's Heart Of Glass, it was really slow and different, they did it really well, it was a crowd pleaser.

We Barbarians on the other hand, were really good! I enjoyed them very much so! And being at the very front of the crowd I could near enough touch them, their music was different but brilliant.

So now for my decision, who's the best?
Well to me my favourite, the one I can't get out of my head, that I can't go a day without listening to...

Lonsdale Boys Club, they were so good! I just loved seeing them, I'd do anything and everything to see them again!

So if you have any suggestions on what my next blog should be on, comment or tweet me :).

So I did as I was asked and well I was really happy with what I heard.
Their EP is out in 2 weeks and I'm incredibly excited!
The EP is called 'Back when...' and every other song is a working title, so as you can see they're very new, and just starting out, but don't let this stop you form loving them, they are a very good new band. And I love their music.

Their demo 'Run Little Runaway' is just great! It's so catchy! Honestly guys go and listen!

What I'm listening to at the moment...

So there's this band, We The Kings and they've been around since 2005. Well I like them. They're pretty cool. Their songs get in your head and well for me that's a great thing! Beats lift music anyday... I'm never going down, I'm never giving up, I'm never going to leave so put your hands up...

There's also We Are Scientists, well there are no words. But I actually have to tlak about them. My friend got me into them, thank goodness! Haha.
I think their greatest song is, Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt, from their album With Love and Squalor, it's so addictive!

There's also a band called 2:54, now I was surprised when I listened to them because I got a suggestion to do so, and I started thinking, yeah they sound cool, but I was expecting a male singer but instead it was two women, I was pleasantly surprised. Give them a listen...

I also really like Lana Del Rey at the moment, I hear her on the radio and I turn it up, yes some people think she's a little 'boring' and 'depressive' but if you listen to her album and her lyrics you'll be surprised at how up beat she can be. So tell me what you think about her. I really like 'Blue Jeans' it's my favourite.

There's also this band Don Broco, well they're pretty cool they're a bit like 'All american rejects' meet 'all time low' it's different but alternative rocky music, I like it. I like Dream Boy and Beautiful Morning the most.

Now there is also Benjamin Francis Leftwich, he has a soft voice that's really calming and the melody's in the music are just so soothing. I love Atlas Hands, it has so much meaning to the song, and it's enchanting to listen to.

I'm really getting back into Keane, their new album is on Spotify and I love listening to it, yes they sound like the old Keane, but it's so great to hear from Mr Chaplin again. The album is called Strange Land, I have a feeling that it's going to do well.

Finally the people I've listened to most recently are Lonsdale Boys Club, I saw them live when I went to see Olly Murs and I've liked them for ages when they were first starting out, they are great, and have such catchy songs, my favourite song of theirs has to be Hooligans and Hulagirls, then obviously Sista Shake and Light Me Up.

So that's it, the latest and Artists I've been listening to recently.

Any suggestions for me to listen to any other music are welcome!

Branden Abeyta

So I had this tweet from a singer/songwriter so I did what I've promised, I went to his music site http://www.reverbnation.com/brandenabeyta and then I went to his website http://www.brandenabeyta.com/ and well I really like it.

Now I must admit the music he does, is a lot different to the usual stuff I'd listen to, but I like the difference.

Now I haven't really told you anything about him so here you go...

Branden Abeyta was born on the 29th of July, 1985, he is a singer/songwriter/ performer.
He has won TWO prestige's awards, includin the 2009 USA Song writing Competition Honourable Mention for his brilliant song 'Hypnotized' this song is in the genre of Rap.

His best award however is the 2010 USA Song Writing Competition 1st place award for his awesome song 'Retail' which was debuted as a street single in 2010.

Branden Abeyta was born in the 'rugged' neighbourhood of Commerce City, Colorado, now it's known for its hight crime rates in the 80's but thankfully Branden seems to have got away from that with the help of his music.

Branden Abeyta is a unique, intelligent, passionate and motivating musician, I strongly advise you to check him out, if you like R&B and Rap, but then again even if you don't because I liked it!
Help out the childhood dreamer reach all of his dreams and get him awards this year too!

These are a few of his songs, that you can get on iTunes...

'Hands Up'
'All Day Loving You'
'No Style Like Mine'
'Never Chasin''
'Retail'
And my personal favourite,
'Spread My Wings and Fly'

So go on! Listen and love!

Jack is back...

Jack White is back and it's a very good thing!

So a couple of months ago I went out and got NME and it was all about Mr Jack White, and it informed me on the fact that he is back.

I got a suggestion of who to listen to, as you can probably guess I had to listen to Jack White's new album. I did. And I fell in love with his voice. I can't really explain it, it's a little husky, I do love it, although it does sort of sound like he's singing through a megaphone... Maybe that's it?

This is the track listing...
Missing Pieces
Sixteen Saltines
Freedom and 21
Love Interruption
Blunderbuss
Hypocritical Kiss
Weep Themselves to Sleep
I'm Shakin'
Trash Tongue Talker
Hip (Eponymous) Poor Boy
I Guess I Should Go to Sleep
On and On and On
Take Me with You When You Go

I have to say my favourite one has to be 'Weep Themselves to Sleep' it's a catchy song and it has an amazing piano part in it.

So I think whoever reads this should definitely go and listen to JACK WHITE!

Oh and talking of NME, since I went to Foster The People, they've done a review of it from the night I went, my brother, my friend and I are in the picture :).

Any suggestions for music are very welcome with me, just comment. Thanks.

Mystery Jets

Have been around for 7 years and are my new love...

I can't get enough of the classic 'Two Doors Down' by this amazing band.

My brother recently went to see them live and I asked him to text me what he thought after he'd been, his exact words were... 'Mystery jets are AWESOME :D!' So, I'm guessing they are as good as they are, on the album as they are live (if not better) because he does know his music. :)

They've recently had a new album come out, if any of you don't know what it is it's called 'Radlands' check it out, you wont regret it :).

I know I'm late in liking them, but still they are great, their music is uplifting and enjoyable. I really do like them.

If anyone has a suggestion of a band, no matter old or new, that you want me to listen to then tell you how I feel about them please comment on a post and help me discover loads more music!!

'Love is a four letter word'

Jason Mraz has done it again.
First is was Waiting for My Rocket to Come,
then it was Mr A-Z
then the amazing We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.
To now. Love is a Four Letter Word!
It's amazing, he has yet again made my day with his upbeat, secret giving, mind blowingly great music!
And he's only 34.

Yeah his new album is no 'I'm Yours' but sure is good!

The track listing is this...

The Freedom Song
Living in the Moment
The Woman I Love
I Won't Give Up
5/6
Everything Is Sound
93 Million Miles
Frank D. Fixer
Who's Thinking About You Now?
In Your Hands
Be Honest
The World as I See It
I'm Coming Over

So if you guys (if anyone reads this) want to listen to Mr Mraz and then tell me which song's your favourite? :)

Serious Gig Depression...

So Foster The People yesterday was beyond awesome, I think I have to invent a word for how great it was...

But now I have serious gig depression, I've listened to the album twice today to listen to Marks voice again, I miss it.
I now know every single word off by heart and to the B-sides Love and Ruby.

Ruby is such a beautiful song.

Anyway, my next venture will be The Cure. Desperately need to see this band. I would do anything.

Anyone want to help me? :D Would be much appreciated...

FOSTER THE PEOPLE FEEDBACK

OHH EMM GEEE!
That gig was the best gig I've ever been to! And I've seen Olly Murs! Now that is saying something!

So back to the gig...
I wish I could go back to the gig..

It was epic! Mark Foster is gorgeous I'm sorry but he is, Cubbie was further away than the rest of them, tucked up in the corner-being the shy person he is- and the other Mark was closer to us.
I was dead center and in the front row, being pushed up against the bars. I've never been so squashed at a gig, but seriously I'd do it again and again, if I could see Foster The People again.

So this is the set list...
And even though I said in my last blog that I didn't like 'Warrant' I know kinda LOVE it! It's so good live.

So thank you to Mark Foster, Cubbie Fink, and Mark Pontius for being the best band I've ever seen!

Oh and thanks again Mark Foster for standing right in front of me all night and then coming and climbing on the bar in front of me at the end, I used your shoelace to help me stand up.

FOSTER THE PEOPLE.

I've never been so excited I'm going to see Foster The People tomorrow in Brixton.
My brother, Tom, is taking me and my friend. I've been listening to their music for ages, Keisha got me into them and I will forever love them.

My favourite song would have to be 'Don't stop (colour on the walls) and I do not like 'Warrant' I don't know why I just can't get on with it...

Any way I'll tell you all about it sunday when I get back!

'The best day of my lifeeeee'

My guilty pleasure every time I hear this song, I can't help but smile. I don't know if its the cheesy 'declaring of his love' or the tune, but Jesse McCartney has done very well with this one...

'Just another day
Started out like any other
Just another girl who took my breath away
Then she turned around
She took me down
Just another day that I ....
Had the best day of my life'

It's so unbelievably bad, but don't worry I wont start like Bieber any time soon...

Please someone give me new songs to listen to! Get me out of Jesse McCartney!!

Spotify is Legen-wait for it-DARY...

Whoever came up with the idea of Spotify needs a high-five. Fact.

It's such a good idea, get free music for a certain time a month, it's awesome.

I can go from Marc Broussard, to the Wombats, to a bit of Buble! You cannot go wrong!

As you can now realise I can't go a day without music, it's like a day without breathing, it never happens.
And well spotify creators have given me the chance to be in my own sort of musical... A song for my every mood, and my every movement.
Sort of like my own sound track....
Or lift music for every room...

Anyone have a suggestion for a song? I'll try anything...

Juan Zelada…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Zelada

I got these tickets to see my favourite jazz musician Juan Zelada, I won them from a competition. I woke up on Friday morning and went onto my Facebook and found an inbox.

So I got all excited reading how all I had to do was turn up and go to the front get in and get my ‘Free signed poster’ at the front of the queue, completely free. Only thing is I didn’t know I had entered it.

So I couldn’t get there in time my place to York for Friday night, it was never going to happen. I had a serious sad face.

Hey ho, I’ll find a way to meet him… Any ideas?

Introduction to Moustacheyousomething...

Introduction...

Well I don’t know if anyone will actually read this but it’s worth a go.

I’m Moustacheyousmething and this is my blog. I’m obsessed with music, I can not live with out it. I am always listening to some sort of it.

Now I can’t really stand classic, but I’ll give anything a go, any suggestions and I’ll telly you what I think.

I have a few people that I love beyond anything…

Mr David Bowie is my first, I’d give anything to meet him and see him play live.

The Cure are my next, (I have a slight weird crush on Robert Smith) I want to see The Cure live really bad! I want to go to Reading to see them. Close to me is best.

My final band I would have loved to have seen are The Beatles. John, Paul, George and Ringo. I would’ve died if I saw them. But I’ve seen a tribute so that’s close enough.

I read NME for new bands because well I find new people to listen to, which I love.

I honestly can’t say what my favourite genre is because I try all sorts.
I’d love it if someone would talk back and ask me some questions about music, I’d love to see what you think.
